Our society functions under the rules of the DGSA Ltd with our responsibility being the implementation of the Society's objectives :
• To maintain the purity of and to promote and encourage the breeding of pedigree goats of all dairy breeds
• To promote and raise the standards of breeding, health and welfare and the keeping of all breeds of dairy goats
• To promote the holding of exhibitions and to conduct exhibitions of dairy goats of all breeds
• To promote and encourage the importation and exportation of all breeds of dairy goats into and out of Australia
In addition, we provide information and assistance to existing and potential owners of purebred dairy goats.
We also have much fun and fellowship, including showing our animals and all that entails.
Whilst we are a small society we have a very enthusiastic membership who really enjoy raising, breeding and caring for those wonderful animals, dairy goats.
